                                                                                                                                  3-D SHOOT GENERAL RULES
These rules apply to all participants unless stated differently in individual division rules.
Every participant is expected to read and follow all rules as written.
  1. < >  All shoots will be open to the public.  They will either be one day or two day events.  Registration will be from 8:30am to 4:30pm on Saturday and 8:30am to 3:00pm on Sunday (unless otherwise advertised)Divisions & Fees:

  2. You must be age 50 or older to compete in the senior division.
  3. < >       All shoots will consist of 28 targets with each division shooting from their respective stake.  Only 1 arrow will be shot at each target.< >         Small ring:       12 points (Center unless otherwise indicated)In order for your score to be valid, you must shoot with at least 1 other participant (i.e. – no shooting alone).If a second participant is not available, the registrar must provide a scorer to be sent with the participant.
  4. Binoculars and range finders will be allowed in all divisions, but a reasonable amount of time will be enforced (3 minutes maximum at each target).You must allow participants requesting to shoot through that opportunity.Failure to do so may result in forfeiture without refund.
  5. Participants must shoot according to shot distance, with the furthest from the target shooting first.
  6. Participants may shoot the course more than once but only the first score will count.
  7. Participants may begin at either target #1 or #15 but must mark scorecards accordingly.This will be done at the discretion of registrar.Participants may be told where to start late in the day to keep clean up of targets safe.
  8. A maximum of 4 participants will be allowed in each group (exceptions may be made for larger groups at the discretion of registrar to keep juniors and cadets within their group).
  9. Any participant may request the break-up of any group. The request must be made to the registrar prior to that group shooting.Whenever possible a scorer will be sent with that group. If a scorer is not available, the group will be asked to separate.
  10. When looking for lost arrows, participants will be expected to place their bow in front of the target until the arrow is located.
  11. All protests must be brought to the registrar in writing prior to the ending of the shoot.
  12. < > Trophies will be awarded to the first 3 places for the cadet division.  All other divisions, except non-competitive, will be awarded on a 3-6-9 basis up to 3rd place.  All trophies must be picked up at the club.In the case of a tie, the winner will be selected by counting the total number of twelve rings, followed by the total number of hearts.If a tie still exists, then first arrow missed in the heart ring will be the loser beginning at target #1.


 
INDIVIDUAL DIVISION RULES
 
Unlimited – Women & Men
  1. This is an open division with all archery equipment being legal.
  2. Shot distances will be approximately 45 yards or less.
    Hunter – Advanced, Women, Men, & Senior
  3. Bows are limited as follows:
    1. Stabilizer length total of 20”, front bar 14” maximum, including weight. Sidebars will be measured from the center of connection point on bow to the longest measurable point, including weight.
    2. Maximum 6 inch distance from riser to sight pin.
    3. No magnification in sight or peep (verifier allowed).
  4. Shot distances will be approximately 30 yards or less for hunter (women, men, & seniors) and 45 yards or less for advanced hunter.
    Junior
  5. Open to participants 12 - 17 years old only.
  6. All archery equipment is legal.
  7. Shot distances will be approximately 30 yards or less.
    Cadet
  8. Open to participants 11 years old and under only.
  9. All archery equipment is legal.
  10. Shot distances will be approximately 15 yards or less.
